The main objects to be pursued by the company - THE INDIAN RUBBER DEALERS FEDERATION (IRDF) on its incorporation are: -

 To facilitate, foster, develop, assist, regulate, promote, support and protect the character, status and interest of the merchants trading in rubber, to define the custom and usages of such trade; to maintain high standards of commercial honour and integrity: to make rules and regulations conducive to the promotion of just and honourable practices therein, and to initiate and promote the organizations of the trade;

 To secure mutual support, co-operation and uniformity of policy among members in matters connected with the trade and in dealing with brokers and all classes of people who are dealing with the members of the company.

Member means the ordinary name or common name given to the Association which have been recognized as members by the Federation.

Board of Directors of the Board denotes the Board selected by the General Body meeting of the Federation for administration of the Federation.

No person other than the Rubber Dealers Association whether registered as a society, company or any other body corporate, which are recognized by the federation, shall be the member of the federation eligible to have their name included in the register of members.

Each member association shall be entitled to depute six of its members to the general body of the federation and they shall be called delegates. The six delegates from each member association shall be the president, Vice president, secretary, treasurer and two other nominated members from each member association.

Every member to the general body shall have one vote.

No member shall be entitled to vote at any general body meeting unless all sums presently payable by him to the federation have been paid.

The board of directors shall meet atleast once in every three calendar months to conduct business.

The quorum for the Board meeting shall be either 8 members or 1/4th of the total strength whichever is less, provided the quorum shall not be less than two members in any case.

The President, Vice President, general Secretary, Joint Secretary and treasurer of the federation shall be elected by the General body, from among the members of the General Body votes, in the Annual General Body Meeting.

They shall hold office till the subsequent Annual General body meeting.
